The results of the flow and bed topography measurements at a reach of the Upper Meghna River in the vicinity of the Meghna Bridge (23.6027degreesN, 90.6165degreesE) have been presented. The existing bank erosion in the study reach is compared with the velocity vector field and currently available models are used to explain the current condition.
