Hokuriku Shinkansen Line begin to operate from spring 2015. Thus City of Kanazawa promotes the activation of creating new night spots to avoid one-day trip. As part of this promotion activity, we held the Projection Mapping event at Tsuzumimon in Kanazawa Station on 12th-13th October 2013. Tsuzumimon is symbolic construction of traditional culture of Kanazawa. We aim to create the projection representing the new image of Kanazawa on the traditional culture through leading technology. Our event consists of two kinds of Projection Mapping, which is the appreciative Projection Mapping to represent a brand new image of Kanazawa and the participatory Projection Mapping as an interactive visualization to create images by participants.
