Apr 2012   第一原理計算によるL20規則合金を含む一軸結晶磁気異方性材料の探索
スピン軌道相互作用を含む電子状態の第一原理計算によって、L20型のFeCoをはじめとする一軸性遷移金属合金の結晶磁気異方性の計算を行い、希少元素フリーの新媒体材料をと新規高結晶磁気異方性材料を提案する。さらに、これらの物質の超薄膜やナノ構造における磁気特性(磁気モーメント、磁気異方性定数)を第一原理計算より評価し、革新的永久磁石材料としての有効性を示す。
Oct 2011   電子状態の第一原理計算による界面磁性の研究
Ndリッチ相もしくはこれをモデル化した粒界相と接するR2Fe14B(R:希土類元素)結晶粒の電子状態の第一原理計算を実行し、界面近傍と内部での電子状態と磁気モーメントの違いを調べる。特に、界面近傍に位置するRイオンの外殻(5d、6s)軌道が(バルクにおけるRイオンの外殻軌道と比べて)どのように歪んでいるかを調べることにより、Rイオンの内殻軌道にある4f電子のモーメントに働く結晶電場を見積もる。
