Profile

Shinya Onogi received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Hokkaido University, Japan in 2002 and in 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Science from the University of Tokyo, Japan in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Project Researcher of Intelligent Modeling Laboratory at the University of Tokyo. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow of Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, USA. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan. His research interests are computer assisted surgery/therapy based on robotics and information science.
