岡山 咲子

千葉大学法経学部在学中の2003年に「千葉大学環境ISO学生委員会」を立ち上げ、初代委員長として大学のISO14001認証取得に貢献。京都大学大学院地球環境学舎修了（地球環境学修士）後、株式会社リクルートに入社し、営業・企画・広報などを経験。2014年に退職し千葉大学に復職、環境ISO事務局に勤務しながら博士課程に進学し、2016年度に博士（公共学）を取得。
現在は国立大学法人千葉大学 国際未来教育基幹 高等教育センター講師として、環境管理責任者補佐および環境ISO学生委員会指導教員を務める。学生主体の環境マネジメントシステムの国内外への普及に取り組み、実務教育・アクティブラーニングとしての環境・サステナビリティ教育を推進している。近年は、株式会社京葉銀行、株式会社ZOZOとの共同プロジェクトに加え、株式会社ブレーンセンターと連携し、次世代サステナビリティ人材の育成を目指す「サステナ×キャリア共育プロジェクト～Think Sustainability, Think Your Career～」を展開。
2024年度には全学副専攻プログラム「環境サステナビリティ実践学」を創設し、環境課題解決型人材の育成に尽力している。一般社団法人サステイナブルキャンパス推進協議会理事として大学間連携による教育普及にも取り組むほか、千葉大学インターカルチュラルスタディセンター（ICSセンター）の一員として、地域社会や学校における異文化理解と外国にルーツをもつ子どもの支援にも力を注いでいる。

Sakiko Okayama is a Lecturer at the Center for Higher Education, Organization for Fostering Innovation in Higher Education, Chiba University. While studying at Chiba University, she founded the Environmental ISO Student Committee in 2003 and contributed as its first chair to the university’s ISO 14001 certification. After completing a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Studies at Kyoto University and working in the private sector, she returned to Chiba University, earning her Ph.D. in Public Policy in 2016.

Her work focuses on student-led environmental management systems and the advancement of sustainability education through experiential and active learning. She leads university–industry collaborative projects that connect sustainability practice with career development and promotes next-generation human resource development for solving environmental and social issues.

She established the university-wide minor program “Practical Environmental Sustainability Studies” in 2024 and serves as a board member of the Campus Sustainability Network in Japan (CAS-Net JAPAN). She is also engaged in promoting intercultural understanding and supporting children with foreign backgrounds through the Intercultural Studies Center at Chiba University.
