Dr. Prasongchai Setthasuravich serves as a Project Researcher at the International Project Laboratory, the University of Tokyo, Japan. His diverse research interests include the digital divide, social informatics, digital governance, public policy engineering, and public administration. He focuses on leveraging interdisciplinary methodologies to address complex issues at the intersection of digital technology, governance, public policy, and society. In 2025, he was recognized as a Top Scholar in the global “Digital Divide” field over the prior five years (top 0.6% worldwide, ranked #16), according to ScholarGPS (Meta Analytics LLC., November 2025). He is also the recipient of the Thailand National Research Award: Doctoral Dissertation Award (Excellence Level), 2026, the highest-ranked national award for doctoral dissertations in the field of Political Science and Public Administration, granted by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
