I focus on the relationship between survival strategies of the urban poor and the regulatory policing by authorities, using electricity theft of the urban poor in Metro Manila as a case.
Since 2016, I have conducted fieldwork in an urban poor community located in Metro Manila, and have conducted face-to-face questionnaire surveys and interviews in Tagalog of over 300 households.
