Shoji Kajita is a researcher and practitioner on Social Information Science defined as study of the ways in which social dynamics and information and communication technologies mutually shape each other. He is currently an Associate Professor of Information Technology Center, Nagoya University. His current main interests include strategic planning, design and implementation of information and communication technologies and services for higher educational institutions.
