I have strong experiences in synthesis and characterizations of nanomaterials and quantum dots including metal oxides and metal sulfides used as light-emitting materials and catalysts. My expertise is on gas-phase synthesis such as flame spray pyrolysis, spray drying, hot-wall synthesis/chemical vapor synthesis and plasma-assisted spray/vapor synthesis for large-scale production of TiO2 nanoparticles. I am also capable to synthesis various kinds of nanomaterials with different structures such as nano-rods/-fibers, nanosheets and nanospheres by solution/wet chemical, combustion and solid-state methods. My research experiences also cover on chemistry of materials such as defect and bandgap engineering. Beside materials synthesis, I have hand-on experiences in various materials characterizations and analytical techniques, and photocatalytic reactions: H2 production, water purification and organic synthesis.
