シリカント サイニ

Shrikant Saini is currently a Researcher at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. He obtained a Master degree in Physics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. In 2007, he moved to Jeju National University, Republic of Korea (South Korea) to pursue Ph.D. (awarded 2011) in Mechanical Engineering. Then he moved to Japan as postdoc researcher at Hiroshima University (JST fellowship) from 2012 to 2015, at Muroran Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2018. In between, 2015 to 2017 he worked as a postdoc fellow (MRSEC fellowship) at University of Utah, USA before reaching his current position.

His research is focused on development and characterizations of thin films of materials for energy and sustainable development especially thermoelectric and superconductors. It includes the materials such as oxides, ceramics, chalcogenides, and organic-inorganic hybrid. He is the author of more than 35 papers in international scientific journals, three book chapters, and one book and has one patent and has contributed to international conferences.
