- 大阪大学感染症総合教育研究拠点・特任准教授。1984年、大阪府交野市生まれ。
- 京都大学経済学部を卒業後、三菱東京UFJ銀行（現・三菱UFJ銀行）に入行。退職後、大阪大学大学院経済学研究科博士後期課程にて、博士号（経済学）を取得。
- 日本学術振興会特別研究員DC1及びPD・京都大学大学院経済学研究科特定講師・東北学院大学経済学部准教授を経て、現職。
- 専門は、応用ミクロ計量経済学・行動経済学・実験経済学。
- 行動経済学会の理事とともに、環境省・経済産業省などの中央府省庁や地方自治体で有識者委員やアドバイザーを務める。
- 主要業績に、「Majority size and conformity behavior in charitable giving: Field evidence from a donation-based crowdfunding platform in Japan」（Journal of Economic Psychology，単著）や「Nudges for COVID-19 voluntary vaccination: How to explain peer information?」（Social Science & Medicine，共著）などがある。
- 『日本経済新聞』の「やさしい経済学」で、「ナッジの政策活用」の10回連載を担当しました。
- 主に中央府省庁・地方自治体の職員向けに行っている講演を、YouTube動画にして公開している：
