<p>Recently, bolted tensile joints are tried to be used at the main girder connection of temporary piers because of reducing the number of bolts and shortening the construction period. However, bolt axial forces in this joint with multiple bolt lines can't be uniform without any devices. One solution to this problem is to install stiffeners, in which case it is necessary to examine the arrangement position of stiffeners and bolts. Therefore, this paper aims to clarify the influence of the arrangement these positions on the mechanical behavior of bolted tensile joints. As a result, the joint strength tends to decrease as the distance of point of action and the bolt center is separated. And the reduction coefficient of joint strength can be expressed by using the structural parameter of the element joint.</p>
