PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics with over seven years of expertise in advanced composite materials for aerospace and space applications. Led projects funded by the Japanese Government, JAXA, MEXT, and NEDO to develop LOX-compatible materials and demonstrate ultra-lightweight, linerless composite tanks for liquid oxygen (LOX) and liquid biomethane (LBM) for SPACE WALKER’s reusable rocket program. Collaborated with DLR and Coriolis Composites to advance LOX tank development using scalable Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) technology, and with Fraunhofer IPT to implement scalable Laser-Assisted Tape Winding (LATW) technology for LBM tank production. Managed simultaneous NEDO-SBIR and MEXT-SBIR initiatives, optimizing material design and production processes. Skilled in tackling technical challenges, design optimization, and cross-functional team coordination.
