Yusuke Suzumura

Dr. Yusuke Suzumura, born in 1976, received a doctoral degree from Hosei University (Tokyo) in 2008, and is an Associate Professor of Meijo University, a Visiting Researcher of the Hosei University Research Center for International Japanese Studies, a Visiting Researcher of the Hosei University Research Center for Edo-Tokyo Studies and a Research Fellow of the Rissho University Research Center for Ishibashi Tanzan Studies. He published the newest book "Relationship between Religion of Philosophy and Society in Kiyozawa Manshi" from Hosei University Press in February 2022. His majors are comparative philosophy, history of politics, and cross cultural studies, and in recent years he appears on TV or radio as a commentator. He is also the specialist of the baseball history and published 3 books since 2005. He serves as the President of the Forum for Researchers of Baseball Culture, Co-Executive Director and the Executive Committee Chairperson for the 22nd Annual Conference of the Japan Society for Intercultural Studies, and Co-Director of the Ishibashi Tanzan Society.
