Takumi Ishihara received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in computer and information sciences from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2016 and 2017, respectively, and Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from the same university, in 2020.

From June 25, 2018 to October 1, 2018, he was an academic visitor at the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, U.K., sponsored by JSPS Overseas Challenge Program for Young Researchers. From April 1, 2020 to Match 31, 2022, he was a Project Researcher at the Wireless Communications Research Group headed by Prof. Shinya Sugiura, Institute of Industrial Sciences, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. He is currently a researcher at NTT corporation. His research field is signal processing for wireless communications.

Dr. Ishihara has received the Telecom System Technology Award (honorable mention) in 2018 and the Yasujiro Niwa Outstanding Paper Award in 2019.
