Thank you for coming to this page.
I've been interested in teachers' workload in Japan and other developed countries.
Why do teachers have heavy workload or work for a longer hours than other workers? This is my research question. To solve the question, I've analyzed quantitatively the survey data and government statistics which conducted to teachers. One of the research paper is as follow. This is a paper of the Educational Studies in Japan: International Yearbook(No.10 in 2016).

This paper is based on a paper written in Japanese. The Original paper was published in The Japanese Journal of Educational Research Vol.82 No.1 in 2015 by Japanese Educational Research Association. After then, Japanese Educational Research Association decided to translate my paper from Japanese to English. The translator is Nadezhda Murray.
