高松 邦吉

Kuniyoshi Takamatsu is a Principal Researcher (PR) at Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA). In 1997, he began doctoral studies in cryogenic engineering, focusing on the use of superfluid helium for cooling artificial satellites and superconducting magnets (SCMs), the latter being used in large-scale scientific facilities such as the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). He completed his doctroal dissertation in 1999 and received his Ph.D. from Kyushu University.

He began his research career at Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI) in 2000 as a researcher at JAERI's High Temperature engineering Test Reactor (HTTR). He also worked at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) from 2012 to 2013. He has experience in the operation and maintenance of the HTTR for four years, as well as in R&D on thermal-hydraulics, reactor dynamics, and radiation measurements for 22 years.
