After serving as an assistant professor at Aichi Shukutoku University, and as an associate professor and professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University, currently in office since April 2023.

I have held positions as a visiting researcher at the Bank of Japan Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies and a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Presently, I concurrently serve as an executive director of The Accounting and Economic Association of Japan and as an examiner for the Certified Public Accountant Examination (Financial Accounting) among other responsibilities.

My research focus on "Corporate Information and Capital Markets." Quantitatively analyzing factors influencing the disclosure of corporate information (financial and non-financial), the impact of information disclosure on the decision-making of market participants, and factors influencing the relationship between information disclosure and market participants' decision-making.

Notable publications include "Accounting Information and Capital Markets: Analysis and Impact" (Chuo Keizai Sha, 2018) (Recipient of the Ota-Kurosawa Prize from the Japan Accounting Association and the Academic Award from the 47th The Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants), among others.
