Tomohiko Kondo is Professor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Letters at Keio University, Japan. He studied Greek and Latin classics and philosophy at the University of Tokyo, where he received his PhD. His current research focuses on Hellenistic and Roman philosophy, and he has published articles and book chapters in Japanese and English on the Stoic, Platonic and Aristotelian traditions, including ‘Plato against Plato?
