本研究は，アクセプタンス＆コミットメント・セラピー（以下ACT）における行動変容のメカニズムを明らかにするために，「集中している」の介入による参加者自身の実践が，スケジュール感受性やルール形成に及ぼす影響について，「オープンになる」の介入と比較して，その効果の違いを検討した。実験は，モニターに提示されるボタンをクリックすると得点が獲得できるゲームを用いた。参加者は，多くの得点が得られるように得点の与え方（強化スケジュール）の変化に沿って，行動やルールを変容させることが求められた。「集中している」の介入では，実況生中継をしながら課題をするように求めた。「オープンになる」の介入では，計算しながら課題をするように求められた。参加者は，いずれかの手続きで実験に参加した。その結果，実況生中継を求められた参加者は，適切な言語報告ができず，やり方を理解しても自分自身で実践していくことが困難だと考えられた。また，実況生中継と計算では，スケジュール感受性とルール形成に及ぼす影響は異なり，行動変容メカニズムが異なることが示唆された。
The purpose of this study is to clarify the mechanism of behavior change in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Therefore, we investigated whether the practice on ‘the centered response style’ was flexible to the change of reinforcement schedule compared with the practice on ‘the open response style’. Participants played the game which is to click the button in monitor for getting points as more as possible. The schedule for getting point changed from FR or DRL to FI, so we checked whether participants respond along the change to the schedule of getting point. Participants in the centered response style condition were required to play the game while reporting what happened. On the other hand, participants in the open response style condition were required to play the game while doing subtraction in their head. Results showed that it was difficult to report what happened, so it suggested that they need to train to report it appropriately. Furthermore, it indicated that the behavior change was different under two conditions. We discuss the differences of mechanism for schedule sensitivity and rule formulation between two response styles in ACT.
