疾患・感染病関連等タンパク質の生体分子シミュレーションにより、機能発現メカニズムの分子基盤を明らかにする研究に取り組んでいる。実験と連携した手法や、スーパーコンピュータを用いた大規模計算による解析プロトコルの開発等にも取り組んでいる。
