滝川 敏明

Toshiaki Takigawa is Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Law, Kansai University (Osaka, Japan). He has published articles on comparative analyses of Japanese, U.S. and EU competition laws. His articles have been published in edited books and international academic journals, including “Super platforms, big data, and competition law: the Japanese approach in contrast with the USA and EU”, Journal of Antitrust Enforcement, jnaa053, https://doi.org/10.1093/jaenfo/jnaa053 (December 2020);  “Restraining bargaining power through competition law: superior bargaining position regulation in Japan as compared with the EU”, Chapter 11 in Abusive Practices in Competition Law, F.D. Porto and R. Podszun eds. (Edward Elgar, 2018). Professor Takigawa had worked for Fair Trade Commission of Japan, as well as for Japanese Delegation to Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) at Paris. He holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of California at Berkeley, as well as LLB/Law from Kyoto University (Japan). He was a Fulbright-grantee scholar at George Washington University Law School (2009-2010), and was a visiting scholar at University of California Berkeley School of Law (2012-2013).
