(1)昨年度開発した分析システムを用いて,一般海洋で得られた小型の石灰質底生有孔虫殻の安定同位体組成を定量し,その個体分散を用いた生態情報の解析を試みた.その結果,同位体組成の個体分散から生態を推測することによって,底層水の同位体組成を反映する種を選択的に抽出して分析することが可能であることがわかった.これらは絶滅種にも適応可能であり,過去の海洋環境の復元に適切な有孔虫種を選定して古環境を復元することができる.この成果は「石灰質微生物殻の個別同位体分散」の概念とその応用をはじめて提示したも...
