In the present study, we focus attention on a microbubble generator with a venturi tube. In this generator, a bubble expanded progressively in the diverging region. Then, it shrunk rapidly and microbubbles are generated. In this process, chemical processing is expected because pressure and temperature in the bubble are higher when it shrinks rapidly. The purpose of the present study is to clarify the possibility of the chemical reactor with the venturi type microbubble generator. We anticipated that the chemical reaction is evaluated from the pH measurement Therefore, to clarify PH change by chemical reaction, we measured pH value. In order to identify the bubble breakup, we・minutely observed the bubbly flow behavior in the venturi tube. Consequently, the difference of change of pH value was obtained by bubble breakup.
