Bringing a firm and favorable change in current trend of global warming could be possible only by coupling GHG emission reduction together with transformation of CO2 and CH4 to value added products. As a postdoctoral researcher at Kyushu University (Japan), I am actively working on following:
> Co-conversion of CO2 and CH4 to syngas, a crucial intermediate resource for production of synthetic hydrocarbon fuels
> Being the most abundant and bio-renewable biomass on earth, the lignocellulosic biomass – cellulose - has been considered as an efficient raw material to replace fossil resources. I work on cellulose conversion to glucose
> I am passionate in developing a low cost materials for CO2 adsorption aiming a greener future

Short Biography
I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Kyushu University, Japan. I have a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Malaya, Malaysia. I received a Master of Philosophy degree in Nanoscience and nanotechnology from International and Inter University Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India. I also hold another master degree in Physical Chemistry from School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India. My current research interests focus on
> development of nanocatalysts for dry reforming of methane to produce syn-gas
> Cellulose conversion to glucose
> CO2 adsoprtion materials
I have 8 years of research experience in the fields such as, catalysis, nanomaterial synthesis, hydrogen production, nanocarbon synthesis, development of polymer nanocomposite for Li-ion battery application, and theoretical chemistry.
