I'm specializing in the history of cultural relations in the Interbellum era. My research theme is the acceptance of Soviet culture in Japan through intellectuals. I'm aiming to discover the transnational circulations of actors, things and information, focusing on organizations, publishings and transportations which helped their activity.
In addition to these research at the regional level, I'm trying the comparative analysis of cases in European countries, so that Japanese Soviet experiences can be placed in the global context of Soviet cultural diplomacy.
Moreover, I have a great interest in historiology, so I'm working on history of historiography, philosophy of history and theory of history.
