We propose new concept of simple DP system. Minimum data input from sensors are used for control the ship position and heading. Only GPS position (latitude and Longitude) and Gyro compass heading data are necessary. The prediction of the position and heading realized by means of simple extrapolation using recorded data are used for calculation. Therefore, no complex ship motion
