ペン ウェンクン

Weng Kung Peng is a Professor at the University of Osaka, where his interdisciplinary research group pioneers novel conceptual frameworks—drawing on quantum information theory—for life sciences, materials science, and urban planning. Previously, he served as a Research Scientist at MIT's BioSyM initiative and as Group Leader at leading institutions in Portugal and China. In 2014, he was named one of Foreign Policy's 100 Leading Global Thinkers for his disruptive technological innovations; more recently, in 2023, he received the NSFC International Young Scientist Award from China.
