Dr. Xichao Zhang is an International Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2018 from Shinshu University, Japan. His research mainly focuses on the magnetic spin textures and their potential applications in spintronic devices. Dr. Zhang has published more than 80 academic papers in peer-reviewed international journals, including Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Nature Physics, Nature Electronics, Nature Communications, Applied Physics Letters, and Nano Letters. He has also contributed five invited chapters to three international books published by Taylor & Francis Group, Elsevier, and Springer. His Google Scholar citations are above 4500 and his H-index is equal to 28 in September 2021 (26 Web of Science). He serves as a regular reviewer of over 20 international journals, including Physical Review journals and Nature-branded journals. He is also a Guest Associate Editor of Frontiers in Physics (ISSN: 2296-424X) and an Editorial Board Member of Magnetism (ISSN: 2673-8724). He has been ranked among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University in 2020.
