My research interests include corpus linguistics, phraseology, second language acquisition, and research methods in applied linguistics. I enjoy teaching writing and presentation skills through content classes such as linguistics and research methods. I also enjoy introducing my students to the rhetorical aspects of writing such as understanding the audience and using appeals to bolster their arguments.
