山本 哲也

Tetsuya Yamamoto was born in Yamanashi, Japan on May 1st, 1969. He received the B.S. degree in physical engineering from University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, in 1992, and the M.S. and Ph. D degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1995 and 1998, respectively. From 1998 to 2004, he was a Research Associate with Yamagata University, Yonezawa, Japan. From 2002 to 2003, he was a Visiting Research Associate, on leave from Yamagata University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA. From 2004 to 2006, he was a Research Scientist with National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ), National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Tsukuba, Japan. After engaging in some administrative departments in AIST, from 2011 to 2015, he was a Senior Research Scientist with Research Institute of Instrumentation Frontier (RIIF), AIST, Tsukuba, Japan. From 2015 to 2023, he was a Senior Research Scientist with Research Institute for Measurement and Analytical Instrumentation (RIMA), AIST, Tsukuba, Japan. He is currently a Technical Senior Officer with RIMA, AIST, Tsukuba, Japan.
