光本 泰秀

Yasuhide Mitsumoto is a professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hokuriku University, Kanazawa, Japan. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 1988, and followed a Postdoctoral Training at the Research Institute of the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada. From 1995 to 2005, he had been working at the Institute of Drug Discovery, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as a Project Leader. He has been at the Hokuriku University since 2005. His research focuses on the experimental neurology and neuroscience, especially in the area of neurodegenerative diseases and stress-related diseases such as Parkinson's disease and depression. My current research interests are focused on pharmacological and nonpharmacological approaches to prevent the diseases.
