Novel fullerene derivatives having a terthiophene moiety connected by a triple bond were synthesized by nucleophilic addition of the lithium acetylides connected to terthiophene to C-60. Electropolymerization of these dyads afforded the electroactive polymer films which were stable both in p-doped and n-doped states.
