We deal with a sequence of nonlinear mappings satisfying certain conditions and generate a strongly convergent iterative sequence to a common fixed point of these mappings. To prove our main theorem, we use a technique of set convergence. This result can be applied for various types of mappings and therefore it includes many known results.
