The anisotropic resistivity of (TMTTF)(2)SbF6 under hydrostatic pressure was investigated up to similar to 0.3 GPa using a helium gas pressure control system. The resistivity along the a axis shows a metallic behavior above a crossover temperature T-rho (similar to 220 K at ambient pressure) and an insulating behavior below T-rho. On the other hand, the temperature dependence of P-b' and p(c). was found to show a kink at a charge ordered temperature T-co. Interestingly, T rho was increased with applying pressure while T-co was decreased with applying pressure. We discuss this unusual feature in terms of the pressure-temperature phase diagram in the (TMTCF)(2)X system. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
