甲斐 義明

専門は写真史および近現代美術史。ニューヨーク市立大学大学院センター博士課程修了(Ph.D. in Art History)。2013年より新潟大学人文学部准教授。著書に『ありのままのイメージ：スナップ美学と日本写真史』（東京大学出版会、2021年）、『時の宙づり：生・写真・死』(IZU PHOTO MUSEUM、2010年。ジェフリー・バッチェン/小原真史共著)など、編訳書に『写真の理論』（月曜社、2017年）がある。

Yoshiaki Kai is a historian of photography and currently Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities of Niigata University in Japan. He earned a Ph.D. from the City University of New York.
