Yoichi Ogata is a Researcher in Koito Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and the Choi-Ogas Platform. He earned a Ph. D. degree in Materials Science from Japan Advanced Institute and Science (JAIST) and worked as a project assistant professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) and as a research associate at the University of Rochester (UR) in US. He has also conducted research at RIKEN, the University of Tokyo, and Yokohama National University (YNU). Throughout his career, he has been deeply passionate about studying and teaching “Laser spectroscopy of nano and/or micro-structures” at the university level, which has remained his primary area of focus.
