笠原 順路

笠原順路（かさはら・よりみち）明星大学名誉教授（2023～）、専門はイギリス文学、特に18～19世紀の詩。東京大学助教授（1991-99）、明星大学教授（1999-2023）、イギリス・ロマン派学会会長（2012-16）、日本シェリー研究センター会長（2007-11）などを歴任。主著は、『地誌から叙情へ』（編著、明星大学出版部、2004）、“Byron’s Dying Gladiator in Context” (The Wordsworth Circle, 2009)、『対訳 バイロン詩集』（編訳、岩波文庫、2009）、 “P. B. Shelley, terza rima, and Italy: Con-fusion of Voices, Persons, and Poetic Forms” (POETICA, 2014)など。最近の業績として“Another Folio in Meisei Shakespeare Collection: A Descriptive Introduction to The Vase of Shakspeare with the Complete Transcript of the Larger Plaque”（『明星大学研究紀要―教育学部』、2020）、「齋藤勇の “magic casements” ―― 後の齋藤英文学を胚胎する『英詩講義ノート（Keats篇）』」（『明星――明星教育センター紀要』、2020）、Variations on the Dying Gladiator & Other Essays on Byron (Privately printed by Osaka Kyoiku Tosho, 2023) など。
