Profile

Yosuke Ito was born in Aichi Prefecture in Japan and completed his Ph. D in Engineering at Tachibana Laboratory at Kyoto University. He majors in plasma science. From April in 2010 to March in 2013, he belonged to the Advanced Biomedical Engineering Research unit. Since April in 2013, he has been in Department of Electrical Engineering at Graduate School of Engineering in Kyoto University.

He studied the diagnosis by lights and electromagnetic waves, and applications of plasmas at atmospheric pressure (microplasmas), particularly in plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) when he was a Ph. D. student at the university. And now, he has studied optically-pumped atomic magnetometers for biomagnetic measurements.
