本稿は、京都大学において質の高い国際的短期学生受入れプログラムを企画するための調査報告である。 最初に京都大学で現在実施している北京大学学生対象のサマースクールの概要とその効果について述べた。次に、そこから見えてきた課題を克服するために、アジアにおいて先駆的な短期学生受入れプログラ ムを実施している国内外の大学―国立台湾大学、香港中文大学、金沢大学、岡山大学、九州大学―の事例を、 カリキュラム、教員の確保、プログラムの費用、運営体制、学生アシスタントの関与、実施時期及び期間、 使用言語等の観点から考察した。最後に、先行事例を踏まえながら、京都大学のプログラムの今後の展開及び課題について述べた。This paper is a research report on how to develop high quality short-term programs at Kyoto University for inbound students. Firstly, an overview is given of the current Kyoto University Summer School Program for Peking University students, with a description of the program's effects. Secondly, in order to overcome problems that confront the above program, the short-term inbound student programs, which have been implemented in National Taiwan University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Kanazawa University, Okayama University, and Kyushu University, were studied regarding their curriculums, faculties, program costs, operating system, involvement of host student assistants, time and period of implementation, language, etc. Finally, future developments and challenges for Kyoto University are presented in reference to the precedent cases.
