本学ロボティクス学科では，入学直後の1 年生を対象に，LEGO Mindstorms を用いたロボットの製作体験型授業を実施している．入学直後のロボット開発に対する高いモチベーションを逃さずロボット製作に取り組ませることで，関連技術の概要を体験することができ，後の学習意欲の向上につながることが期待されるからである．本学23 号館のコラボレーションスタジオ，コミュニケーションスタジオを利用したグループ活動を行い，中間発表と設計へのフィードバック，最終発表，学生間相互評価による授業運営を行った．また，この授業に対するアンケートを全学年で実施し，満足度，学習意欲の向上を確認した．;Robot development experience using LEGO Mindstorms has been given to the first year students of KIT Robotics department. The experience is suitable for the motivated students and it gives brief overview of robot technologies and encourages the students to study them. The class consists of group activities in the collaboration studio and the communication studio in the 23rd building, halfway presentation and feedback to robot design, final presentation and peer reviewing by students. The satisfaction with the class and the enhancement of motivation to study robot technologies have beenconfirmed by questionnaire.
