Peter W. Roux is an Associate Professor in the Educational Development and Learning Center at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan. His research areas include intercultural communication and applied instructional& learning design. He maintains active research interestes in the psychology of learning, embodied learning, applied linguistics, and broadly, how minds grow to benefit societies. He is an Adjunct Researcher at the Research Center for Instructional Systems at Kumamoto University, Japan. He maintains active research interests in the psychology of learning, applied linguistics and how minds grow to benefit societies. Further interests include exploring how artistic expression intertwines with, and co-creates culture, and he enjoys projects that benefit a sustainable society through socio-educational outreach. He is currently working on instructional design for developing cultural intelligence in blended learning environments and investigating the socio-economic and learning impact of building a sustainable garden.
