Cold-responsive gene expression during cold acclimation plays important roles in development of freezing tolerance. Low-temperature induces expression of Cor (cold-responsive)/Lea (late embryogenesis-abundant) gene family members through C-repeat binding factor (CBF) transcription factors in higher plants. The direct activation of Cor/Lea genes including Wdhn13 via CBF transcri
