In this research, we have surveyed the Social Capital that sustain the continuation of inhabitation in the Less-favoured Areas, Miomote and Tohkamachi, both in Niigata prefecture, Japan. Miomote village relocated collectively, and Tohkamachi area is known as the area of Echigo-tsumari Art Triennale.
