© 2016 Society for Information Display. All rights reserved. Y2WO6:Eu nano-rod phosohors with various Eu concentration were synthesized by flux method using LiCI flux. The diameter of the nano-rod was kept around ∼200 nm with Eu concentration lower than 10%. The emission characteristics were drastically improved by introduction of seed crystals in the flux.
