It is known that there exists FIR filters which satisfy perfect reconstruction condition of oversampled DFT filter banks. However, the general design methods are not addressed. In this work we propose a design method of oversampled DFT filter banks using paraunitary property which enable us to choose arbitray decimation ratio D less than the number of channel M, under filter length as the multiple of common number of M and D. Our proposed method gives us perfect reconstruction FIR DFT filter banks with sufficient stopband attenuation which is important for applying to subband adaptive filters. Besides, we also show a design method for oversampled paraunitary DFT filter banks with linear phases. In order to show effectiveness of our method, we give design examples.
