森林生態系の物質循環、特に窒素を中心に、その環境変動や森林管理の影響に関する研究を国内外で進めています。

また、木質バイオマス燃焼灰の特性評価やその利活用のほか、福島事故以降は放射性物質の土壌から樹木への吸収についての研究にも取り組んでいます。

I am conducting research on material cycling, particularly focusing on nitrogen in forest ecosystems, and studying it's effects of environmental changes and forest management, both domestically and internationally.

I am involved in evaluating the properties and utilization of wood biomass ash. Since the Fukushima accident, I have also been researching the absorption of radioactive cesium from soil into trees.
