Hideyuki Tachibana

Dr. Hideyuki Tachibana was born in Saitama, Japan, in 1985. He received his B.E. degree in Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics from the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2008. He received M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Information Physics and Computing from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He was a JSPS Research Fellow (DC1) from 2010 to 2013. 

In 2014, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Organization for the Strategic Coordination of Research and Intellectual Properties (School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences), Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan. From 2015 to 2016, He was a freelance programmer. He joined a startup company (PKSHA Technology Inc.) as a part-time machine learning engineer in July 2015, and had been with the company as a full-time senior machine learning engineer responsible for the development of machine learning and data analysis systems since 2016. In 2017, the company made the IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers. He has been a lead machine learning engineer of the company since 2020. He has also been a parttime lecturer at Asia University, Tokyo, since 2021.

He is a member of AAAS, ACM, IEEE, IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan), IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers), and ASJ (Acoustical Society of Japan).
