1. Diverse Pathophysiological Roles of Mature Mast Cells

Mast cells are distributed in nearly all vascularized tissues and are highly diverse based on their localization. They are fascinating targets of research because they could release a wide variety of immune/inflammatory mediators, such as biogenic amines, lipid mediators, cytokines, and growth factors, in response to various environmental stimuli. I have recently focused on the roles of orphan G protein-coupled receptors involved in the activation and suppression of mast cells.

2. Promotion of Research Integrity

Research integrity is one of the essential practices for every researcher. I am trying to improve the research climate for young researchers through the continuous proposals for restructuring the way we evaluate the research activity and mentor young researchers.
